Cupcake Camp Montreal is a fun fundraising event and a delicious celebration of the small, good things in life that make a difference… like cupcakes and kids! Completely volunteer run and organized in an open and participatory manner, our first Cupcake Camp Montreal raises funds for Kids Help Phone. A little bit of love can make a big difference and everything tastes better when shared.

The concept for Cupcake Camp originated in San Francisco and is based on the same open and participatory, grassroots organizational concept as BarCamp/DemoCamp. The DIY Camp model promotes a true spirit of community and sharing, and Cupcake Camps now happen around the world and come in a wide variety of flavors and sizes. The most essential feature of a Cupcake Camp is that it brings together people to share their love of cupcakes!

There are many different ways to participate in Cupcake Camp Montreal. You can bake cupcakes and donate them to Cupcake Camp to help raise money for a good cause. If you want to donate cupcakes and love the cause but are short on time, you can even buy cupcakes from a local baker and donate them to Cupcake Camp. You can become a sponsor if your company loves the idea and has a big heart. You can volunteer to help out at the event. Or you can simply come and eat cupcakes and share the love and fun of so many cupcakes in one place. We’re asking for a suggested donation of $10 at the door, which will get you your choice of 3 cupcakes and a coffee. Additional individual cupcakes to take home will also be available for a small donation. All proceeds will be donated to Kids Help Phone and everyone involved is participating as a volunteer or donor. No big hearted cupcake lover will be turned away, Cupcake Camp Montreal is all about sharing and celebrating cupcakes, community and creativity. Charity never tasted this sweet!

A little bit about Kid’s Help Phone: Their mission is to improve the well-being of Canadian children and youth by providing them anonymous and confidential professional counselling, referrals, and information through technologically-based communications media. Last year, they helped Canadian kids in need well over two million times through our phone and online counselling services.
